School / Community

Lomira High School is a 4-year comprehensive public high school located in Lomira, Wisconsin.  Lomira is a rural community of approximately 2400 people, located 50 miles north of Milwaukee.  Enrollment is 350 students.

Student Profile

Each year approximately 75% of graduates continue their education as follows:

50% attend a 4 year college

25% attend a 2 year Technical college

Graduation Requirements

24 credits as follows:

English 4 Credits
Math

2 Credits (Graduating Years 2013, 2014)
3 Credits (Graduating Year 2015 and forward)

Science 2 Credits
Social Studies 3 Credits
Health 0.5 Credit*
Physical Education 1.5 Credits
Career Prep 0.5 Credit
Personal Finance 0.5 Credit

The remaining credits may be selected from the list of elective subjects. 

We currently offer AP classes in US History, Calculus, English Language and English Literature.

*Successful completion of 7th and 8th grade Health in middle school will fufill this requirement if the class meets Department of Public Instruction standards.

D  76-70%
F  69% and below

Grades and class rank are unweighted using a 4.0 scale
