A new feature the school subscribed to this year is a mass notification program. This program pulls information from our student records program (Skyward) and will be used to notify parents through phone calls, texts, and e-mail messages. These messages will be only sent in emergency situations and for school closings/delays or early releases. We will continue to send informational messages via e-mail but will only use the phone calling and texting system in the situations mentioned above.
Because the system pulls information out of what the school uses for their student information system, you will not receive messages if the data we have is incorrect. This information was gathered at registration. To check or change the contact numbers we have on file, please login to Skyward Family Access. At the bottom of this page, there is a series of screen shots and instructions on how to change the information
The system we are using is limited to the number of text messages that can be stored for a student. Because of this, it is important that when you enter changes or view information that we have on file, the cellular number is listed BEFORE any work numbers. Most of the time the cellular number will be listed before the work number, but there will be some instances where it is not.
