Staff members from Theresa Learning Community accepted the National Blue Ribbon Award in Washington DC in November. It was an honor to represent the staff, students, and families of the School District of Lomira. Congratulations to Jenny Priesgen, Lomira School District Elementary Music Teacher! Jenny is the recipient of a LAEEF Education Grant. She will be purchasing ukuleles for our music program!
Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation (LAEEF) Grant Award: Mrs. Martin was warded a grant to add Edison mini robots and building kits to her Enrichment class. The 8th graders will learn additional coding and problem solving skills.
Lomira Area Education Enrichment Foundation (LAEEF) Grant Award: The Lomira VEX Competition Club was awarded a $1,540 grant that will allow for the expansion of the program to Lomira Middle School. Two new teams will be formed to provide engineering, problem solving, and computer coding experiences for our students. The grant funds will be used to purchase robotics equipment and supplies for the building of competition robots.

Wed Sep 28 9:15 At approximately 8:30 A.M. this morning, there was an unplanned fire alarm. A sensor alarm in the sprinkler system triggered the alert. Local Fire and Police departments responded and the building was cleared by the Fire Chief. Students are safely back in class.
Our Lion Cafe held its Grand Re-Opening this week and it was a HUGE success!! This cafe offers great vocational experience for our students, and they love doing this!
THERESA ELEMENTARY AWARDED AS A 2022 NATIONAL BLUE RIBBON SCHOOL Theresa, WI - The School District of Lomira is delighted to announce that Theresa Elementary School was recognized today as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona. Theresa Elementary School is one of eight Wisconsin schools nationally recognized with this prestigious award that honors public and private elementary, middle, and high schools that close achievement and opportunity gaps and where students achieve high learning metrics.

4K - 8 Picture Day is Friday, September 16, 2022. Envelopes will be sent home Monday, September 12.
4K - 5th Grade Supply Drop off and Meet your teacher night is Wednesday, August 24th from 4:30 - 6:00. Come to school and meet your teacher! All families are invited into school for drop off night. The teachers will be in their classrooms waiting to meet their new students and their families. You can bring ALL of your supplies to the classroom and meet your teacher.
