The School District of Lomira seeks a dynamic, team-oriented candidate to fill a full-time administrative assistant vacancy at the Theresa Learning Community (TLC) School. This position is a 10-month full-time position during the school year and some summer days.
Candidates must utilize excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, and demeanor to build and maintain positive rapport with staff, students, parents, and the community. Technology proficiency across multiple platforms and office equipment is essential. Ideal candidates will thrive in multitasking in a fast-paced environment, maintain emotional control under stress, and work with frequent interruptions. Moreover, candidates who are self-starters, take initiative, and work independently, yet be a team member, are preferred. Candidates with school experience are encouraged to apply. Previous experience working in a professional office environment is desired, as is the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Summer School Begins June 3rd and runs through June 28th
Come and meet our new Elementary Principal, Mr. Troy Krause, today (Tuesday May 21st) from 3:30 - 5:00 PM in the Elementary Gym. Mr. Krause comes to us from Cuba City School District, where he also served as the Elementary Principal.
The Civics Team qualified and competed at the Wisconsin Civics Games on Friday, May 10th.
The competition brought the top 18 teams from across the state to the Capitol in Madison. Participants answered questions on topics ranging from the state insect to their constitutional rights. Along the way, students heard from Gov. Tony Evers and other top state officials, including Attorney General Josh Kaul, Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman and State Superintendent Jill Underly. We competed head to head in the first 2 rounds for cumulative points. Then the 6 teams with the most points advanced to the finals. We missed finals by 3 points.
Congratulations to our students who competed!
Class of 2024 Graduation is Friday, May 17th. The ceremony begins at 6:00 PM in the High School Gym. Doors open at 5:15. Congratulations graduates!
The Lion Cafe has been serving coffee and hot chocolate to students and staff every Wednesday and Thursday this school year. Thursday will be the last day the Lion Cafe is open this school year. We would like to thank the employees of the Lion Cafe for their hard work this school year!

This past weekend 56 members of the high school band participated in State Solo and Ensemble at UW-Milwaukee. All events received a first which is the highest rating possible. Congratulations to the percussion ensemble, flute choir, saxophone choir, trumpet choir, and Zoe James and Teva McQuitty on their mallet duet for all of their phenomenal performances!

We are privileged to introduce Mr. Troy Krause as the School District of Lomira Elementary Principal.
Mr. Krause comes to us from Cuba City School District, where he also served as the Elementary Principal. The School District will host a “Meet and Greet” with Mr. Krause on May 21, 2024, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. in the ES Gym. Light refreshments and snacks will be available. Each Monday night, an alert is sent if a student has unpaid school fees. On Monday April 15th, a glitch occured in the alert system and the message was sent to all of our parents regardless if fees were unpaid or not. We apologize for this error and will get it fixed.
